2021 Go the Distance Challenge

Whether you swim for fitness or competition, North Texas Masters Swimming has a challenge to help you meet your 2021 goals. This challenge is open to all North Texas Masters swimmers registered with U.S. Masters Swimming.

Individual Award Details

• The top 3 individuals with the most accumulated mileage in each quarter will receive a check from North Texas LMSC. First place: $60, Second place: $50, Third place: $35.
• The top 3 individuals with the most accumulated mileage from Jan 1 – Dec 31, 2021 will receive a check from North Texas LMSC. First place: $120, Second place: $100, Third place: $75.

Team Award Details

• Teams will be paid 7 cents a mile based on the total GTD mileage for the team in each quarter. If the team award is less than $10, the amount earned is carried over and paid in the following quarter or when the total due the team is $10 or more.

Note:

• Mileage calculations for individuals and teams are reset to zero at the end of each quarter. Mileage for award calculations are pulled from USMS on April 1, July 1, October 1 and January 1.

• All entries must be recorded in the month they occurred in order to get credit.
• Entries are based on the honor system.
